Tom Holland reveals childhood diagnosis of Dyslexia, ADHD
Hollywood star Tom Holland has revealed that he was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD during his childhood discussing how these neurological disorders impact his acting career.
In a recent interview, the 29-year-old candidly shared his experience with dyslexia, which he was diagnosed with at the age of 7, and ADHD (Attention Deficit/ Hyperactive Disorder).
“I have ADHD and I’m dyslexic and I find that sometimes when someone gives me a blank canvas, it can be slightly intimidating”, Holland admitted. He explained that these challenges can arise when developing a character.
Holland emphasised the importance of play in fostering creativity, stating “Anyway that you can, as a young person or as an adult, interact with something that forces you to be creative and think outside the box that makes a difference”.
On the professional front, Holland is busy with major projects, including Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film ‘The Odyssey’ and a new ‘Spider Man’ installment titled ‘Brand New Day’. Additionally, he is rumored to be the front runner for the next James Bond role.
