PM directs to replicate China’s quality standards at Pakistan hospitals
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday directed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to establish simple, robust, and sustainable infrastructure at Islamabad’s under-construction hospitals, including the Jinnah Medical Complex, to deliver high-quality medical services modelled on Chinese standards.
During his visit to Beijing’s Anzhen Hospital, the prime minister instructed that high-quality facilities at Pakistan’s upcoming hospitals should be prioritised, following the Chinese model.

While touring Anzhen Hospital, he reviewed the facilities and praised the hospital’s effective systems, modern technology, and efficient services.
The prime minister was briefed on the available healthcare services, robotic systems for improved administration, and other high-tech facilities.
Prime Minister Shehbaz was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as well as federal ministers Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Attaullah Tarar.
