Despite the tragic news, Rashid Khan displayed immense courage, contributing a quickfire 39 runs off just 16 balls to boost Afghanistan’s efforts in the match.

However, Pakistan emerged victorious by 39 runs.

Following the match, Pakistan’s players gathered to express their deepest condolences to Rashid Khan.
