Gold prices soar to all-time high in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, mirroring gains in the international market.
The price of gold per tola reached Rs367,400, up by Rs3,600 in a single day.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold was sold at Rs314,986, marking an increase of Rs3,172.
“This is a new all-time high,” said Abdullah Chand of APGJSA.
The previous peak of Rs363,700 per tola was recorded on April 22, 2025.
On Friday, gold had climbed to Rs363,800 per tola, after gaining Rs1,200 during the day.
Internationally, gold prices also edged higher, reaching $3,447 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), up by $36, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an uptick, with the price per tola rising Rs81 to Rs4,202.
