New Directors appointed at NESPAK Board by CCoSOEs

The meeting was attended by several federal ministers, federal secretaries, and senior officials from relevant ministries and regulatory bodies

The Cabinet Committee on State Owned Enterprises (CCoSOEs) approved the reconstitution of the board of directors for National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK).

In a meeting chaired by Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb focus on a single agenda item concerning the NESPAK board.

Following recommendations from the Board Nomination Committee, in accordance with the State- Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act of 2023, the committee approved the panel of directors: Javaid Aslam, Muhammad Ali, Pir Saad Ahsanuddin, Omar Hassan and Shahana Ahmad Ali recognised for their strong professional credentials and relevant expertise.

The committee emphasised the importance of timely and coordinated efforts by relevant departments and agencies in selecting and scrutinising board nominations to prevent delays in the process.

The meeting was attended by various federal ministers, including Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada (Housing and Works), Jam Kamal Khan (Commerce), Khalid Hussain Magsi (Science and Technology) and Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry (Maritime Affairs) along with federal secretaries and senior officials from pertinent ministries and regulatory institutions.
