Pakistan, Turkiye reaffirm solidarity with people of Palestine

Pakistan and Turkiye on Tuesday noted the worsening humanitarian crisis and famine in Gaza, and reaffirmed their firm solidarity with the people of Palestine and stressed the urgent need for humanitarian aid and relief.

The matter was discussed as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Jeddah on the sidelines of the 21st extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

The deputy prime minister expressed his deep appreciation to Türkiye for its leadership role in the capacity of the Chair of the 51st OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.

Both leaders also reaffirmed the brotherly Pakistan-Türkiye relations and looked forward to further strengthening the bilateral multifaceted cooperation.
