A bus hostess in Rawalpindi, attempting to film a TikTok video while at the steering wheel, lost control of the vehicle, killing one pedestrian and injuring two others on Saturday.

According to police sources, the accident occurred outside a private bus stand near Pir Wadhai terminal.

The driver had briefly stepped away to get tea after starting the engine, leaving the bus unattended.

The hostess reportedly took the steering wheel to record a TikTok video, but the vehicle went out of control and rammed into another bus stand.

Rescue officials confirmed that a passerby, identified as Irshad Hussain, died on the spot.

Two others, 27-year-old Bilal and 19-year-old Aziz, sustained injuries. The collision also damaged three parked vehicles.

Police immediately took the bus hostess into custody and shifted the hostess to the local police station for further investigation.
