Pakistan team begins week-long training camp in Dubai ahead of tri-series and Asia Cup
The Pakistan cricket team has commenced a seven-day training camp at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai to prepare for the upcoming tri-nation T20I series and the Asia Cup 2025.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said the camp was arranged to ensure players acclimatise to the conditions in Dubai and Sharjah and to provide maximum preparation ahead of the high-profile events.
Under the supervision of the coaching staff, players took part in specialised batting, bowling, and fielding drills.
The training sessions also included fitness routines aimed at sharpening skills and improving on-field performance.
The tri-nation series will begin on August 29, with Pakistan facing Afghanistan in the opening match at Sharjah Stadium.
The event, which runs until September 7, will feature Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the host UAE.
Following the conclusion of the series, the Asia Cup is scheduled to kick off in Dubai on September 9.
