Field Marshal Asim Munir stresses joint efforts for Balochistan progress
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emphasised that the development and prosperity of the people of Balochistan is only possible through collective efforts.
He made the comments during a visit to Turbat, Balochistan, where he reviewed the security and development initiatives.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Balochistan.
During the visit, the army chief reviewed the current security situation in the province as well as progress on development projects.
The visit aimed to review the prevailing security situation, assess development initiatives, and reinforce coordination between military and civil institutions for the stability and prosperity of Balochistan.
The army chief was given a detailed briefing on security matters, existing threats, and successful operations against the “Fitna Al Hindustan”.
He was also informed about both government and military efforts aimed at improving development projects and the socio-economic conditions of the region.
In discussions with representatives of the civil administration, Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasised the need for good governance, infrastructure development, and the importance of inclusive, people-centric progress.
He reiterated that the Pakistan Army stands firmly with the people of Balochistan and will continue to extend full support for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development in the region.
The army chief also praised the role of military personnel in maintaining peace, stating that despite difficult conditions, soldiers have played a pivotal role in establishing stability in the region.
