Gold prices drop in Pakistan after global market dip

The fluctuation in gold prices continues in Pakistan, as the per tola price of gold dropped by Rs1,500 on Friday.

Gold prices, after rising on the previous trading day in both local and international markets, again recorded a decline in the domestic market.

The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of gold per tola in the country fell by Rs1,500, bringing it down to Rs355,700.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,286, reaching Rs304,955.

In contrast, silver rates remained stable. The per tola price of silver stood unchanged at Rs4,013, while the price of 10 grams of silver also held steady at Rs3,440.

On the international front, the price of gold fell by $15 per ounce, settling at $3,330.

It is noteworthy that just a day earlier, gold prices had surged by Rs2,000.
