The Sindh government has announced that all educational institutions in Karachi will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday), August 21, on account of unstable weather.

The decision was confirmed by the Education Department, which has also issued a formal notification.

The government’s decision comes in response to the ongoing heavy rainfall in Karachi.

Earlier, several private schools in Karachi had also announced closure of educational institutions on Thursday, amid torrential rains and the devastating situation in the city.

Some schools have also instructed students to attend online classes instead of in-person sessions.
