Rainfall is forecasted for today in many regions of the country, particularly in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Authorities anticipate flooding in rivers and streams across all four provinces, as well as in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

There is also a risk of landslides and the inundation of low-lying areas.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has advised all relevant agencies to remain on high alert in response to these weather conditions.
