Pakistan has videos of downed Indian jets: Mohsin Naqvi
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said Pakistan possesses video evidence of Indian fighter jets being shot down during the conflict, but authorities chose not to announce it until proof was available.
Addressing a seminar in Lahore, Naqvi accused India of being the main beneficiary of terrorism from 9/11 to the present and directly involved in orchestrating attacks inside Pakistan.
He said that during the conflict, all of India’s war strategies were closely tracked by Pakistani intelligence agencies.
“Our armed forces gave a fitting response to Indian aggression, while our political leadership stood united,” Naqvi said, adding that top Indian officials were holding separate meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting disarray on their side.
The minister said Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Home Minister Amit Shah were actually behind the “entire drama”, and that both of them will destroy themselves and drag Modi down with them.
Naqvi further said that Pakistan had divine support during the conflict, recalling that India fired seven missiles at one of Pakistan’s key bases, but none hit the intended targets.
“The evidence of Indian planes being downed came to us within minutes. We decided not to make any announcement until video proof was received. When their jets crashed, the evidence reached us even before their media reported it,” he asserted, adding that Pakistan has proof of six Indian jets being shot down.
