KP deadly floods: CM Gandapur, ministers, MPAs announces salary donations for flood victims
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has announced donating his one-month salary to assist victims of the recent deadly floods in the province.
Provincial cabinet ministers will also donate their 15-day salary, while members of the provincial assembly will contribute seven days’ salary to the relief funds.
Government employees from grade 17 and above will give two days’ salary, while employees from grades 1 to 16 will contribute one day’s salary.
The chief minister also directed that a special account be set up at the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to ensure transparency in the collection and use of donations.
Gandapur assured that every rupee of the fund will be properly accounted for and that all details will be made public.
“Flood victims deserve our special attention and cooperation. In these difficult times, we must all come forward with open hearts to support them,” the chief minister said.
