Ankara updates transit visa charges for Pakistani travellers
Turkiye has advised its transit visa fees for Pakistani nationals, updating the charges for both single and double entry categories, effective August 2025.
The move is part of Ankara’s ongoing efforts to simplify travel procedures for international passengers using its airports, particularly Istanbul, which serves as a major global hub.
A Türkiye transit visa allows Pakistani travellers and visitors from other countries to pass through Türkiye en route to their end destination.
Depending on flight schedules and personal choice, passengers may either remain in their airport’s transit zone or enter the country during their layover.
Positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Türkiye serves as a bridge in global trade and travel passages.
Istanbul, especially, offers efficient connections to major international destinations, fostering tourism, trade, and diplomatic engagement.

As a summary of the process, the transit visa fee for Pakistanis has been updated for August 2025.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has authorised Anatolia Travel Services to continue to facilitate visa applications, and payments are accepted in PKR, calculated using SBP’s daily exchange rate.
