Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs1,000 per tola on Friday, tracking a decline in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola settled at Rs357,100, while the rate for 10 grams dropped by Rs858 to Rs306,155.

On Wednesday, the yellow metal had closed at Rs358,100 per tola after a marginal drop of Rs200.

Globally, gold was priced at $3,344 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $10 decrease, APGJSA said.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs4,072 per tola.
