HONHAAR Scholarships: CM Punjab announces launch of new cycle, how to register?
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of a new cycle for the registration of the Punjab HONHAAR Scholarship programme, the government’s flagship undergraduate scholarship scheme, on Sunday.
She took his X (former Twitter) handle to make the announcement.
“Your dreams are the heartbeat of Punjab’s future,” she wrote.
“Through the HONAHAR Scholarship Program, Alhamdolillah, 80,000 young minds have been given the wings to thrive, 50,000 already receiving their scholarships, 30,000 more on the way, and many more to follow,” the tweet continued.
She set forth that these scholarships will open doors for 67 “future-proof disciplines” for the students in Punjab.
Chief minister promised to foster “skills and opportunities to build the life” the students deserve.
“Your success will always be my greatest pride,” wrote Maryam Nawaz.
She also shared the route to the online portal, https://honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk, to get registered for the new phase.
The programme is offered and managed by the Punjab government’s Higher Education Department.
To apply for this scholarship, Applicants must have a domicile from any district of Punjab, and family monthly income must be less than Rs300,000.
The scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fee.
