Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday met Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, at the Prime Minister’s House, where the two discussed recent regional developments.

During the meeting, the Saudi envoy conveyed an invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the 9th Future Investment Initiative Forum, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025.

The prime minister accepted the invitation, extended gratitude to the crown prince, and conveyed his best wishes to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The meeting also included discussions on the current situation in the region.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Adviser to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Dr Tauqir Shah were present.
