According to the police, a case has been registered against Ismatullah under the Punjab Arms Ordinance of 2015 for his role in the murder of Sadran Arab, a woman from the area. The case was registered by the police under their own complaint.

The investigation revealed that Ismatullah admitted to traveling with a weapon to Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, and carrying out the murder of Sadran Arab as per the decision made by the jirga. He confessed to using an unlicensed weapon in committing the crime.

In a separate incident, a TikTok video featuring Ismatullah and his accomplices making videos outside the courtroom during the trial surfaced on social media.

The video, which has gone viral, shows the accused making TikToks freely without any police intervention. The police’s inaction during this incident has sparked criticism from the public, with many questioning the efficiency of law enforcement.

The victim, Sadran Arab, was murdered on the night between July 16 and 17 in Rawalpindi’s Pir Wadhai area and was subsequently buried in a local cemetery.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case and the actions of the jirga involved in the decision to carry out the murder.
