No Pakistani cricketer has secured a place in the top 10 of either the batting or bowling categories in the latest T20 player rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), according to sources.

While the absence from the top tiers marks a concerning trend for Pakistan, the rankings show significant individual improvements among several young players.

Hassan Nawaz climbed 24 spots to reach 30th position, while Saim Ayub jumped 25 places to move up to 37th in the batting rankings. Sahibzada Farhan also improved his standing, rising 34 positions to claim the 63rd spot.

On the bowling side, Sufiyan Muqeem made a remarkable leap of 69 places, landing at number 34. Mohammad Nawaz, who was named Player of the Series against the West Indies, rose 51 spots to rank 56th in the overall T20 standings.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s seasoned batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan saw declines in their rankings. Babar dropped three spots to 17th, while Rizwan also slipped three places to 19th.

India’s Abhishek Sharma currently tops the T20 batting rankings, while New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy holds the number one position among bowlers.
