Gold prices rise in Pakistan
After a brief dip, gold and silver prices recover amid global uptick
Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Wednesday, in line with a recovery in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs1,300 per tola, while the 10-gram rate increased by Rs1,114.
The local market’s recovery came after a sharp drop a day earlier, when gold had declined by Rs1,500 per tola.
In the global market, gold also recorded gains. The international rate stood at $3,366 per ounce (including a $20 premium), showing a day-on-day increase of $13.
Silver prices followed a similar trend, with the per tola rate climbing by Rs39 to reach Rs4,010.
