The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has unveiled a new version of its Pak-ID mobile application, featuring advanced tools aimed at enhancing user experience and service delivery.

The updated app promises to save citizens valuable time while providing a variety of services and critical information from the comfort of their homes.

Designed to simplify identity-related tasks, the new version focuses on efficiency and user-friendliness. Key enhancements include:

• Real-time ID tracking capability

• Facial biometric verification at the application initiation

• No biometric requirement to access family members’ records

• Direct appointment booking for NADRA centers through the app

• A significantly improved user interface for smoother navigation

• Greater overall ease of use and accessibility

NADRA encourages citizens to update their Pak-ID mobile app immediately to take advantage of these newly added features.

The authority reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure and public service mechanisms for the convenience of all Pakistanis.

In addition to the app launch, NADRA recently introduced a streamlined online fee payment system, allowing citizens both at home and abroad to apply for identity documents without visiting NADRA centers.

Through the Pak-ID app, users can conveniently pay fees for various documents, including the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), and Family Registration Certificate (FRC), using multiple payment methods such as debit/credit cards, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat.
