Pakistan beat West Indies in last T20, clinch series 2-1
Pakistan secured a 13-run victory over the West Indies in the third and deciding T20I at Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida, winning the three-match series 2-1.
After winning the toss and opting to bat, Pakistan set a formidable target of 190 runs.
Openers Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan got off to a strong start, leading the team to 47 runs without loss by the end of the powerplay.
The duo formed a solid fifty-run partnership, with Farhan impressively scoring his third T20I half-century in the 11th over, bringing the total to 88.
Ayub soon followed, notching his own half-century as Pakistan reached 100 runs without loss in the 13th over.
The West Indies finally broke through in the 17th over when pacer Shamar Joseph dismissed Farhan for a well-played 74 off 53 balls, including three boundaries and five sixes, leaving Pakistan at 138-1.
Hassan Nawaz scored a rapid 15 runs off just seven balls before being dismissed by Roston Chase.
Mohammad Haris was run out shortly after, leaving the score at 170-4.
Ayub’s innings ended with Jason Holder claiming his wicket for 66 runs off 49 balls.
In the final over, Pakistan added 19 runs, with Khushdil Shah remaining unbeaten on 11 and Faheem Ashraf contributing 10 runs off three balls.
In response, the West Indies put up a fight but failed to reach the target.
The home side could only manage 176 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan made two changes to their lineup, introducing Khushdil Shah and Haris Rauf in place of Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Afridi. The West Indies retained the same team from the second T20I.

Fakhar Zaman ruled out of series after injury
In a related development, opener Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the West Indies tour due to injury.
According to the team management, Fakhar Zaman has suffered a hamstring injury and will not be able to take part in the three-match ODI series.
He will return home on the first available flight.
