Ishaq Dar, Abbas Araghchi reaffirm commitment to stronger Pakistan-Iran ties
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar received Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on his arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.
The meeting took place during the official visit of Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian to Pakistan.
The two foreign ministers held wide-ranging talks and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations.
According to a statement from the Foreign Office, both sides emphasised the importance of enhanced cooperation in regional stability, trade, and economic development.
The ministers also discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in key areas of mutual interest. They agreed on practical steps to promote enduring collaboration and long-term relations between the two neighboring countries.
