Kerosene oil rates expcted to increase
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has prepared a summary to reduce the petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan.
According to the sources, the summary will be sent to the Petroleum Division on July 31.
The petrol price is expected to decrease by Rs9.07 per litre, while the high-speed diesel price by Rs3.73 per litre.
However, kerosene oil could see an increase of Rs3.55 per litre, and light diesel may go up by Rs2.33 per litre.
The final decision on the adjustment in petroleum product prices will be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
If approved, the new prices will take effect from August 1 across the country.
