Former IAF officer alleges Indian Army’s chaos, mental issues, incapacity of decision making
Former Indian Air Force officer Harjit Singh exposed the chaos, mental imbalance and failure of decision-making within the Indian Army.
According to The Wire, Harjit Singh said that there are many officers with severe mental stress and psychological problems in the Indian Air Defense.
Harjit Singh said that the Indian Army’s air defense system is actually a sad story and an open joke. He further sarcastically pointed out to join the Air Defense, live a peaceful life.
Singh further stated that every officer in the Indian Army strives for the position of General, this pressure gives rise to severe mental stress and psychological problems in the Indian Air Defense.
The former Indian Air Force officer said that he himself has seen many officers with psychological problems in the Air Defense Artillery.
Harjit Singh further said that if we look at the actual equipment of the Indian Air Defense, the situation becomes even clearer. Even today, the Indian Air Defense has about 80 percent of its air defense guns.
These guns have become obsolete in a modern combat environment. Where will these guns be used in today’s era of drones, cruise missiles and hypersonic technology?
According to Harjit Singh, the drones of the Indian Air Defense are also of very low quality.
They are barely flyable. The Indian Air Defense officer says, “I cannot turn on the radar because it will be detected.” Then the question is, when the radar does not work then how will the enemy aircraft, missiles or drones be detected?
All these facts reflect the incompetence and internal defects of the Indian Army’s air defense system. The Indian Air Defense is still based on an ineffective, outdated and inexperienced structure.
