Bangladesh lose third T20I against Pakistan but win series

In the third and final match of the three-match T20I series, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 74 runs, showing a tremendous performance in both batting and bowling.

Winning the toss, host Bangladesh elected to field first.

Pakistan batters managed to put an enormous score of 178 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

Opener Sahibzada Farhaan played a brilliant knock of 63 runs on 41 deliveries, smashing five sixes and six boundaries. Hassan Nawaz also scored 33 runs on just 17 balls with three gigantic sixes.

From Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed took three wickets, and Nasum Ahmed grabbed two.

In the second innings, Pakistan bowlers delivered a splendid performance, shattering the Bangladesh batting lineup. Apart from Mohammad Saifuddin, who scored 33 runs, no other Bangladesh batter could survive on the crease.

Pakistan bowlers restricted Bangladesh batters to a score of 104 till they were all out.

Salman Mirza took three wickets, while Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz grabbed two each.

Bangladesh, despite losing this match, won the three-match T20I series 2-1.

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi, also attended the match at Dhaka Stadium.
