Chung police crack case of shooting at YouTuber Rajab Butt’s residence
Lahore’s Chung police have resolved the case of the shooting incident at the home of well-known YouTuber Rajab Butt.
In a significant breakthrough, authorities arrested two key suspects Kashif Chauhan and Farrukh who confessed during initial interrogation that they opened fire on the instructions of an individual named Shani Tiger.
According to police officials, two more individuals, Usman and Luqman, were also present in the vehicle with the shooters during the attack.
Investigations further revealed that a social media dispute between Rajab Butt and a man named Shehzad Bhatti had escalated, prompting Bhatti to contact Shani Tiger, who allegedly orchestrated the assault.
Acting swiftly, Chung police carried out raids in multiple areas, including Valencia, to apprehend the suspects. The arrested individuals have been transferred to the Crime Scene Investigation Department (CCD) for further questioning.
Sources within the police say the investigation is ongoing to identify any additional individuals involved in the incident.
The shooting caused significant alarm among social media users, but timely action by law enforcement has resulted in a major development in the case.
