The ruling alliance candidate, Hafiz Abdul Karim, won the election for the vacant Senate seat in the Punjab Assembly, according to unconfirmed and unofficial results.

The voting process for the election on the vacant Senate seat in the Punjab Assembly has ended, and according to the unofficial and unconfirmed results, Hafiz Abdul Karim won with a huge margin.

According to unofficial results, Hafiz Abdul Karim received 243 votes, while the opposition’s candidate, Mehr Abdul Sattar, secured only 99 votes.

According to the Election Commission, a total of 345 votes were cast in the Punjab Assembly, out of which three were rejected.

Two independent candidates, Khadija Siddiqui and Ijaz Minhas, also contested the Senate elections.
