Two terrorists killed in Mochko operation
Two terrorists were killed in a joint operation conducted by the CTD and intelligence agencies in Karachi’s Mochko area on July 17.
One of the slain terrorists has been identified as Tahir, who was a trained suicide vest and bomb-making expert.
According to CTD officials, the name of the second slain terrorist could not be ascertained.
An identity card bearing the name of Kashif is recovered from the slain terrorist’s possession. However, Kashif was killed in Afghanistan, but his identity card was being used in Pakistan.
When Kashif’s family was contacted, they maintained that he had joined Fitna Al Khawarij and was buried in Afghanistan.
Tahir Shah was involved in several terrorist acts in KP, and the KP government had offered a reward of Rs 2 million for his arrest. Tahir was also associated with Fitna Al Khawarij.
The authorities have sought assistance from other provinces to identify the second slain terrorist.
