At least nine Fitna Al Khawarij terrorists killed in Hangu operation

DPO, SHO sustain bullet injuries in exchange of fire

At least nine terrorists of Fitna Al Khawarij were killed on Saturday in a successful operation in the Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This was stated by the Regional Police Officer of Kohat, Abbas Majeed Marwat.

The operation was carried out in Zargiri, Shinawari and surrounding areas under the supervision of Hangu District Police Officer (DPO) Khalid Khan.

DPO Khalid Khan, the Wing Commander of Tall Scouts and SHO Doabba were injured during the operation and were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

The hospital administration maintains that the condition of DPO Khalid Khan, who received four bullets, is satisfactory. DPO Khalid Khan was later shifted to CMH Kohat.

KP IG Zulfiqar Hameed also confirmed that the DPO’s condition is out of danger.

He added that he has spoken to the DPO, his morale is high, and he is committed to his mission against terrorists.

According to the KP IG, the security forces carried out this operation on credible information in association with the local administration, in which several important foreign elements were targeted.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi telephoned the DPO Hangu and appreciated his bravery and determination.

Naqvi said that the nation will never forget the sacrifices of its brave sons and is determined to achieve a lasting victory in the war against terrorism.
