Attaullah Tarar addresses court proceedings, PIA’s profit potential amidst controversy

Restoring flights to Europe and Britain for the national carrier is expected to yield billions in profits

Information Minister Tarar stated that he has presented his position in court, emphasizing that the proceedings are being conducted according to the law.

He also noted that irresponsible statements have harmed the national airline, while predicting that PIA will generate billions in profit from flights to Britain and Europe.

He also said that corruption and mismanagement are at the peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and incompetence is at its peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Talking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that he has presented his position in court and the court proceedings are ongoing according to the law. He said that the national airline was damaged by making irresponsible statements, while the government’s efforts have now begun to restore PIA.

Describing the restoration of PIA flights to Britain and Europe as welcome, Tarar said that the national airline will make billions of rupees profit from these flights.

Criticizing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, he said that corruption and mismanagement are rampant there, and incompetence has reached its peak.

Speaking about the Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company, Tarar requested the court not to close the company as it has created employment problems for many employees.

He told the media that a business plan is being prepared for the revival of the company, which will be presented in the court.
