Fitna Al Khawarij militant killed in South Waziristan operation
In the ongoing battle against terrorism, security forces have eliminated notorious militant Hameedullah during a targeted operation against the India-backed terror group Fitna Al Khawarij in South Waziristan.
Hameedullah, who was implicated in multiple terrorist attacks across Pakistan, was reportedly benefiting from financial, technical, and intelligence support provided by Indian agencies.
Sources confirmed that the precise and timely action by security forces not only neutralised a significant threat but also thwarted another planned attack.
In a rare public rebuke, Hameedullah’s own family refused to claim his body after his death.
His father declared unequivocally, “The terrorist attacks carried out by Hameedullah were completely against our beliefs, Islam, and humanity.
I request the government of Pakistan to dispose of his body.“
His brother also condemned the violence, stating, “My brother’s actions violated Islamic principles and human values. We do not endorse any of what he did.”
This unprecedented rejection underscores the broad consensus in Pakistani society against extremism and militancy.
Analysts say the episode serves as a stark warning to youths lured by extremist ideology: such paths end only in dishonour and destruction, with no respect in this life nor salvation in the next.
Government officials maintain that India continues to fund and equip outfits like Fitna Al Khawarij to destabilise the region, but stressed that Pakistan’s military and its citizens remain resolute in countering any such conspiracies.
A military spokesperson reaffirmed that a decisive nationwide campaign against terrorism is in progress and, with public support, these violent elements will be completely eradicated.
This operation stands as a clear message that terrorists will find no shelter, sympathy, or tolerance on Pakistani soil.
