Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran, where they discussed key topics including bilateral relations, regional security, and challenges faced by the Muslim world.

During the meeting, Naqvi congratulated the Iranian President on the recent “great victory” in the conflict, highlighting Iran’s resistance as a point of pride for the Muslim community.

Naqvi praised the extraordinary resilience demonstrated by Iran’s Supreme Leader, government, and citizens against enemy aggression. He noted that Iran’s effective strategy and public unity were pivotal in the war, setting a strong example for the Muslim world.

The Interior Minister reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of attacks on Iran and affirmed the nation’s steadfast support for its brotherly neighbor.

Additionally, Naqvi delivered a goodwill message from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to President Pezeshkian.

In response, President Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support, underlining the significance of the longstanding friendship between the two nations. He assured that the Iranian people would always remember Pakistan’s solidarity during the war.

The Iranian President called for greater unity among Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region. He highlighted the efforts of the Zionist regime to sow divisions among Muslim nations and emphasized the necessity for a united front to counter these attempts.

Pezeshkian expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and stressed the importance of further enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in economic, security, and cultural sectors.
