Anticipated rise in petroleum prices over the next two weeks
OGRA to finalize petroleum prices based on global market rates
Petroleum prices are expected to increase in the coming 15 days.
Sources indicate that the price of high-speed diesel could rise by Rs5.27 per liter, while petrol prices may see an increase of up to Rs6.60.
The oil industry has submitted preliminary calculations regarding these changes to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), which will finalize the figures and forward them to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.
Adjustments in petroleum prices are being considered in light of global market rates and import costs.
The Ministry of Finance is set to approve the new prices following consultations with the Prime Minister.
