In a recent ruling, the City Court in Karachi has dismissed a case related to the assault of a civilian in the Defense area, acting on a police report that sought to terminate the proceedings.

The court accepted the police’s Class C report and officially closed the case.

According to the police report, the affected individual, Dhiraj, has expressed his desire not to pursue further action. He stated that the case arose from a misunderstanding, which he now wishes to withdraw.

The incident in the upscale area of Gizri Defense, where a car passenger, Salman Farooqi, reportedly assaulted a motorcyclist after a collision.

Despite the pleas for forgiveness from the young man’s sisters in front of the influential individual, their emotional appeals were not effective.

The incident gained widespread attention after a video of it went viral on social media.
