Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has clarified that there is no pressure from the US on Pakistan to recognise Israel, reaffirming that Pakistan’s stance remains firmly rooted in the principles laid down by the country’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Addressing a community event in Dallas, Ambassador Sheikh emphasised that Pakistan-US relations are moving in a positive direction, with new avenues of cooperation emerging between the two countries.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s potential in the cryptocurrency sector, citing the country’s abundant electricity resources as a key advantage that could attract international investment in crypto mining and related technologies.

Reiterating Pakistan’s foreign policy principles, Sheikh stated that the country’s position on Israel is based on historical, ideological, and moral grounds, and is not influenced by any external pressure.

He concluded by underlining Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining independent and principled foreign policy decisions, in line with its national values and long-standing diplomatic posture.
