Gold prices continue to rise for third consecutive day
Gold prices surged for the third consecutive day in both the domestic and international markets, with the per tola rate in Pakistan rising by Rs1,100 and the international per ounce price climbing by $11.
According to the latest data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan rose to Rs358,100 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs944, reaching Rs307,013.
In the international market, gold prices also posted gains, with the per ounce rate increasing by $11, bringing the total to $3,356 per ounce.
Silver prices followed a similar upward trend. In the local market, silver rates rose by Rs85 per tola, reaching Rs4,022, while global silver prices increased by $0.85 per ounce, settling at $38.38.
