Gold prices continue to rise for second consecutive day
Gold prices in Pakistan continued to surge in a row, after it witnessed a sharp rise yesterday in both international and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,300, bringing the new rate to Rs357,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,971, now priced at Rs306,069, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold became Rs1,807 more expensive, reaching Rs280,573.
Silver rates also witnessed an uptick, with per tola silver increasing by Rs86 to Rs3,937, and 10 grams up by Rs74, now standing at Rs3,375.
On the international front, gold prices climbed by $21, reaching $3,345 per ounce.
Just a day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold per tola had risen by Rs3,200, closing at Rs354,700.
