According to investigative sources, Humaira Asghar had contacted the Federal Investigative Agency in August 2024, claiming that her mobile phone and social media accounts had been hacked. She reportedly expressed deep concern over her privacy being compromised, which had caused her significant distress.

Sources revealed that although she informed officials verbally, she never submitted a formal written complaint, which limited the scope of any official investigation at the time.
