Humaira Asghar’s death: Initial post-mortem shows no signs of violence
The initial post-mortem findings on actress Humaira Asghar have emerged after her body was found in an apartment in Karachi’s Defence neighbourhood.
The report indicates that she had died between eight and ten months ago, with the remains found in an advanced stage of decomposition.
According to the findings, there were no broken bones, suggesting no immediate evidence of violence or foul play.
However, investigators have sent samples of hair and pieces of clothing for chemical examination to determine any further clues.
Police and other investigative agencies are continuing efforts to establish the circumstances surrounding her death.
Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in court requesting that her death be officially classified as murder.
Humaira Asghar’s body is scheduled to arrive in Lahore later today at around 4pm. Her brother, Naveed, has confirmed that funeral prayers will be held in Model Town.
