At least nine passengers abducted, killed by terrorists in Balochistan
Nine passengers from Punjab were abducted and brutally killed by terrorists in Balochistan’s Sur-Dakai area, with their bodies later found dumped in nearby mountains. The assailants escaped under the cover of night, while the victims’ remains were shifted to Loralai by ambulance.
Tragically, among those slain were two brothers from Dunyapur, Usman Toor and Jabir Toor, who were traveling to attend their father’s funeral.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind confirmed the incident, stating that the attackers forcibly removed unarmed travelers from buses and executed them.
He described the massacre as an act of sheer barbarity orchestrated by Indian-backed militants and vowed that the state would decisively crush such hostile conspiracies. A search operation has been launched to apprehend the perpetrators.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif denounced the attack in the strongest terms, calling it an open conspiracy supported by India. He pledged that those responsible would be brought to justice and terrorism would be eliminated at its roots.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the killings as part of a broader war against the state, asserting that the enemy’s dream to destabilize Balochistan would never succeed.
He assured the public that the victims’ blood would not be spilled in vain and that the killers would be hunted down, no matter where they hide.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed profound grief over the tragedy and affirmed that the government stands firmly with the bereaved families.
He condemned the targeting of innocents as the height of savagery, vowing relentless pursuit of Indian-sponsored terrorists and the defeat of every plot against Pakistan.
