Gold prices surge again after decline in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp increase on Thursday, following a rise in international bullion rates. The domestic gold market responded with a Rs3,200 jump per tola, pushing prices to new highs.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Bazaar Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged to Rs354,700, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs2,744, reaching Rs304,098.
The price hike comes on the back of a rally in the international gold market, where the price per ounce increased by $32, bringing it up to $3,324.
Silver prices also experienced an uptick: Per tola silver increased by Rs10 to Rs3,851, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs8 to Rs3,301.
