Fresh revelations expose Modi govt’s Rafale claims in Operation Sindoor
The Modi government is facing renewed scrutiny after new disclosures challenged its official stance denying that a Rafale fighter jet was lost during Operation Sindoor.
Despite assertions by the BJP IT cell that no Rafale aircraft was downed during the operation, sources indicate otherwise, suggesting the official narrative does not align with the facts.
According to reports, the BJP IT cell circulated a statement falsely attributed to the CEO and Chairman of French manufacturer Dassault Aviation, denying any Rafale crash.
However, Dassault Aviation has publicly rejected these claims, clarifying that neither the company’s CEO nor its Chairman issued any such statement about the aircraft involved.
While some accounts suggested the jet was brought down by a technical malfunction, Dassault has also categorically denied this version of events.
The company’s rebuttal has further exposed inconsistencies in the Indian government’s account, fueling allegations that New Delhi is attempting to obscure the truth behind its operational losses.
