Earthquake of 4.4 magnitude shakes Delhi-NCR, triggers panic
Quake struck at 9:04am and was felt in several areas
Strong tremors were felt across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday morning, sparking panic among residents.
According to the Indian National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale.
Its epicenter was located in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The quake struck at 9:04am and was felt in several areas, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram.
The tremors prompted people to rush out of their homes in fear.
Videos circulating on social media showed ceiling fans and household items swaying due to the quake. As of now, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
