Karachi braces for cloudy weather, light rain ahead
Karachi is expected to see partly cloudy skies over the next few days, with the Met Office predicting light rain and occasional drizzle in parts of the city.
Officials reported that while the current temperature stands at 30 degrees Celsius, high humidity levels of 74% are making conditions feel closer to 36 degrees Celsius.
The suspension of sea breeze has contributed to a humid and stifling atmosphere across the city.
Weather experts predict that temperatures could climb to 35 degrees Celsius over the next three days.
Winds are presently blowing at around 15 kilometers per hour but are not strong enough to bring relief from the heat.
Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, stay well-hydrated, and take precautionary measures to protect themselves from heat-related illnesses.
