The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Wednesday, July 9, will be the final day for mandatory registration of intending pilgrims for Hajj 2026.

According to ministry sources, over 200,000 Pakistani citizens have already registered for the upcoming Hajj season 2026. Registration can be completed through 15 designated banks across the country or online from the comfort of your own home. Importantly, no fee is required for the registration process.

The government has clarified that early registration is mandatory for Hajj 2026, and only those who register within the deadline will be considered eligible. Once registered, applicants will later have the option to choose between the government and private Hajj schemes.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs emphasised that the registration process is being conducted in line with the Saudi government’s guidelines, and the data of all registered applicants will be shared with the Saudi authorities to help determine Pakistan’s Hajj quota.

Registration for Hajj 2026 begins

The ministry further stated that details regarding Hajj 2026 costs and other terms and conditions will be issued separately under the official Hajj Policy. Citizens have been urged to complete their registration on time to avoid any inconvenience.
