PCB unveils 15-member squad for Bangladesh T20 series

Team is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on July 16

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 International series against Bangladesh, with all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz making a return to the national team.

The announcement was made during a press briefing in Lahore by PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed and Advisor to Chairman Amir Mir.

Salman Ali Agha will continue to captain the side, which features a mix of seasoned players and emerging talent. Notable inclusions alongside Nawaz are Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, and Mohammad Haris.

Wicketkeeping duties will be shared by Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan. The spin department includes Abrar Ahmed and Sufyan Moqim, while the pace attack will be led by Ahmed Daniyal, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Salman Mirza, and Faheem Ashraf.

Mohammad Nawaz, who last played a T20I in late 2023, strengthens Pakistan’s all-round capabilities as the team prepares for important upcoming international assignments.

Tour Schedule:

The national team is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on July 16. The three-match T20I series will begin on Sunday, July 20, followed by matches on Tuesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 24.

All three fixtures will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, with each match set to begin at 6:00pm local time.
