Monsoon rainfall has intensified in various regions of Pakistan, with intermittent showers reported in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan, creating pleasant weather conditions.

The Met Office has warned of thunderstorms with rain in Islamabad, indicating that low-lying areas may face flooding. Additionally, there is a risk of rising water levels in rivers and streams.

The rainfall also raises concerns about landslides in Murree, Galiyat, Mansehra, and Nowshera.

Heavy rain is forecasted for the Balochistan districts of Barkhan, Ziarat, and Khuzdar, with similar downpours expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Authorities, including the Met Office and local administration, have urged citizens to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and steer clear of rivers and streams.
