Lahore: Speeding car accident results in one death and two injuries; driver arrested
In an accident in the Shahdara area of Lahore occurred when a speeding car struck motorcyclists, resulting in one fatality and serious injuries to two others.
The police responded quickly, arresting the underage driver responsible for the incident.
The incident took place in Shahdara Town, where a 13-year-old boy, Hashir, son of Umar, was driving recklessly and struck motorcyclists from behind.
The deceased has been identified as Ameen, and his body has been moved to the Mayo Hospital morgue.
Authorities have registered a case against the young driver under sections 322, 337, and 427, based on a complaint from the deceased’s brother, Malik Naveed.
Reports indicate that two additional individuals sustained severe injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A significant crowd gathered at the scene, complicating the police’s efforts to manage the situation.
The police confirmed that the underage suspect is a resident of Shahdara Town, and further investigations are currently underway.
